We don’t know each other, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop the fun!

“Why your last name is Sxander, not Sander or Xander?”

Hm, it’s hard to answer this. I was also asking the same question to my mom. She said I should asked my (late) dad when he was alive. Duh!

“How to pronounce Sxander? Is it S-s-xander?”

Sander. Easy, right?

“What is your middle name? Do you have one?”

Congratulation, it’s a BOY! Yes, that’s my middle name.

“Why your middle name is Boy?”

Believe it or not, it’s also part of my family name. My brother has the same middle name as well (he is a boy, by the way).

“Why did you work in the breastfeeding industry?”

Why not? Not being able to breastfeed baby doesn’t mean I can’t take part to help breastfeeding mothers :) You should start applying to the industry you’re not familiar with if you want to. It will offer you perspective you haven’t seen before.

“What did you get from the breastfeeding industry?”

One, 101 breastfeeding for dummies and daddies. Two, irreplaceable story in every new meeting. Three, scholarship to Europe ;)

“Since you were working in the breastfeeding industry, do you know the most accurate test pack in the market? Apparently I need to buy one ASAP.”

I am so sorry but breastfeeding and creating a baby are two different things. Can’t help.

“My breastmilk production is kinda low. Do you know what’s wrong with it?”

You can seek professional to solve this. Sorry, not a doctor D:

“I heard you just moved to Europe. What do you do there?”

I am studying Digital Communication Leadership joint-master programme by 4 universities in Europe. Check their website at www.dclead.eu. It’s a cool degree with so much things to be learned!

“Are you sure you are Chinese?”

Sorry to disappoint you, but yes. I am a Chinese-born-Indonesian or so-called Chindonesian, the third generation in my family branch. FYI not all Chinese have fair skin colour.

“What’s your Chinese name then?”

My name is 钟明明 or pronounced as Zhong Ming Ming. 钟 is my family name, and 明明 is my name. 明 means bright, and it is believed I was born during the full moon period.

“What’s your most exciting project?”

I do a long-term personal photography project called Forget-me-not. It’s about how humans take memories for granted. Check the first page to see more about it!
